Chelsea have released a statement;
"Since taking over 2 days ago rafa has not won a single game. This is unacceptab;e to a club of Chelsea's stature and we have had to terminate his contract. We wish him well at whatever restaurant he ends up at .
In order to improve efficiences and to cut costs the club has also decided to sack Brendan Rogers, Harry Redknapp and Sven Goran Erikson. This will save the club lots of time and money going forward.
Rafa declined to make an official statement but did say that he held Sir Alex fergsuon responsible for the decision, as well as Superstorm Sandy and the floods in Somerset.

Redknapp pretends to talk to Ukraine.

QPR sack Hughes.

Redknapp goes to QPR instead.

Hughes' record there was shite, and he overestimates his own ability massively, but there's lots of cloak and dagger behind this sacking, especially as they've taken the decision just 24 hours before a match.

Why would they need to be cloak and dagger about it? They haven't won a game yet. If they'd done a 'drag him into the street and publicly behead him' style sacking, everyone would have understood.

The only reason it dragged on this week was because Fernandez was away and they needed his approval on the £1m it would cost them to sack him.

QPR have sacked Hughes just a few weeks later in their second Premier League season than the time at which City should have sacked Phil Brown.

Will Mark Hughes ever get another management job in the Premier League? I honestly can't see it. I'm still amazed he was the manager of Manchester City and allowed to blow over 30 million on the likes of Robinho.

Have QPR just lost at Burnley?

I think he probably will, his record at Blackburn and Fulham was decent and he didn't do too bad at Citeh.

He didn't buy Robinho, as far as I recall. It was a boardroom decision to sign him.

He may not work again, simply because I doubt he wants to go to a Championship club. He's a hypercritical bastard so would probably make a decent pundit.

I always thought Blackburn was about his level. He was never going to be a big enough manager for Man City imo.

Wasn't he the supposed replacement for Brown except St 'I know everything about football' Adam forgot to check he would actually come so we ended up with Dowie.
Not that I'm bitter in any way, like.

Hughes hits back at Bruce

http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/9 ... k-at-bruce

Fuck off Mark Hughes, you monotone fuckwit. Here he suggests that Bruce shouldn't be defending the indefensible, but then defends Ireland's earlier and equally dubious tackle on Meyler.

Mark Hughes is shite, I've always thought that.

Hull City fanzine Amber Nectar began life as a hardcopy publication back in 1998, the work of Tigers supporters Les Motherby and Andy Dalton.

The pair decided to create a fanzine after the end of Tiger Rag (1994-97) and its predecessors Hull, Hell and Happiness (1988-92), On Cloud Seven (1990-92), From Hull To Eternity (1990-92), Last Train To Boothferry Halt (1993) and Look Back In Amber (1992-94).
