Great podcast guys. Thanks for bringing up the issue of L@#ds charging £39.00 a ticket. It’s great that you have differing views for balance but c’mon Les “very defeatist attitude” even if you are probably right.
City fans should tell L#%ds that we are boycotting this game en masse. That Would have an effect.
Not only are the ticket prices extortionatebut the seats are shocking and many get a restricted view.
Well done again on a deserved award!

So HCST put out a statement saying that no City fans will attend. You expect that will actually have much of an impact?

Rich fans will still travel but of course it will have an effect.
Remember Huddersfield away and the ridiculous “bubble”?
£39 in a slum like Elland Road is taking the piss and we should respond accordingly.
Plus it’s 2 days before Christmas and a 17:30 kick off and live on TV.
Even better would be for fans to travel, inflict a big Police bill on L#%ds and watch it in a pub!

I know when it is, where it is and how much it costs etc and I went to Huddersfield and watched it in a pub…I just think you are massively overestimating the influence of fans groups these days to actually make a difference. Look how few turn out for organised protests before home games etc. It’s a shit state of affairs but many people just don’t give that much of a damn these days, such is the Allam effect.

Are you sure about that Bill?
I thought it was a 3 p.m. kick off & not on the telly?

Bill you are correct, which is worrying because I’m going and was sure it was a 5:30pm kick off. Thanks for correcting me.
Interesting to see that L#%ds are fleecing the away fans, which could encourage City fans to pay into the home end?
This match is a ‘Category A’ fixture with tickets priced from £29 adults, £23 concessions and £5 juniors
