Silva didn’t change it up at half time because he blew his wad with the starting line up. There was nowhere to go. It was City’s most attacking side, yet the forwards didn’t perform.

Bringing on M’Bokani reeked of desperation. He has been a very poor acquisition: scored zero goals.

For Sunderland’s first goal we had a multitude of static players in the box and no one challenged O’Shea on the front post to prevent the flick on. Contrast that with City’s corners and free kicks: they were awful.

On Sunderland’s second goal; how many times are City going to get the decisions made against us? Penalties and offsides go the opposition’s way and never City’s way.

If City beat Palace (and why not?) we could all feel very different next Monday! Up The Tigers’ Chins (UTTC).
