PODCAST: TWTWT Podcast 143

A bumper hour-long Bank Holiday ‘special’, giving us extra time to wax lyrical about Eldin Jakupović. We also look ahead (and back) to Sunderland at home, consider the Premier League’s decision to investigate City over pricing issues, and think back to a special promotion 13 years ago to the day.

All yours…

i don’t believe “Typical City” applies anymore under Marco Silva. He has built a mental resilience that is beyond that moniker.

Great to hear Jakupovic getting the praise he deserves; his performances have been stellar. I like his methodical nature in preparation for penalties and free kicks. He constructs a fine wall. If only Bruce had trusted him in the FA Cup final instead of a half fit McGregor that was woefully out of position on the Carzola free kick.

I tip Palace to be relegated with City and Swansea squeaking by. The play Man U, Man City away and us at home; that’s a tough run in.

Ambertigerfan – life does seem different under Marco. Let us hope that “Typical City” doesn’t materialise again, this season at least.
Palace are available at 16 – 25/1 to go down and it is a distinct possibility, IF City can beat Palace.
As for the Jak, I have always like the guys passion.
Les – you remained deeply sceptical of the Jak and very much in the Pro-Marshall camp, time to change your mind? :)

Ps. Whatever happens this season, a huge thanks to everyone at AmberNectar for some fantastic posts. You consistently capture the true emotions of long suffering supporters like me.
A tremendous amount of hard work, research and ale goes into producing such fine work and I salute you for your efforts!

I just got booted off the ‘HullCitySupporters’ Facebook group because I pointed out how shit it was. “If it wasn’t for the occasionally useful streaming link, the forum is largely a waste of internet space. So much unfiltered garbage is posted here – overwhelmingly from people who live in Hull – it doesn’t seem fit for purpose. Go here instead”. I then included a link to http://www.ambernectar.org
