PODCAST: TWTWT Podcast 138

A long old inquest into what happened at Everton, along with an erudite discussion (no, really) on the merits of Jake Livermore’s England recall, so soon after leaving City. We also look ahead to our next game against West Ham by, er, looking back at previous games against West Ham.

No podcast next week due to the international break, see you in a fortnight.

Rannochia: “There are no tactics in Hull”.

I was under the impression that Silva was a tactician. Where does the truth lie?

Pretty much status quo on the membership front!! Incredible, given the thousands of empty seats this season.
Everyone makes mistakes and new ideas are welcome, but only a fool continues to repeat his mistakes!!!

Livermore was no better or worse than his decent form for us. Passing square and back OK…little forward and reluctant to shoot.
West Ham have some dangerous players…notably Carroll, Lanzini and Snodgrass…who wasn’t great for us away…will/may feel at home. Need to deal with set pieces!! Both travellers for Liverpool are playing, so Hernandez should! Two upfront for me. Meyler in, but no Huddlestone and Evandro is a big problem. Such a big game!!! West Ham sometimes don’t travel well…
Man U have a lot of games and injuries and suspensions, so if we’re looking to them to beat our rivals in the near future…well…
Hull certainly gets the cold shoulder from the BBC. Couple of times recently they’ve seemed to discuss every side but us! Plus 2 weeks ago on MotD they listed all Agnew’s previous clubs…guess which was missed out! Bit like Kevin Kilbane’s usual efforts in this regard.
“No tactics in Hull”. Where did that come from? April Fool’s comment surely…
What a shame the Allams have totally cocked up what was a golden opportunity to leave a super legacy on Humberside. Could have built an Everton or such on the East coast….so sad.
