PODCAST: TWTWT Podcast 107

Here goes then, a podcast that takes gratuitous swearing to new heights, and we didn’t even need a guest contributor to achieve it. The reason for such spittle-flecked profanity is, of course, the hideous membership scheme that has angered pretty much every City fan still breathing.

There is also discussion on the win against Wolves and the forthcoming games against Reading and Leeds. That bit is interesting too, we promise.

The seeds of the membership scheme debacle were planted by the Allams being so cheap that they abolished staff at the turnstiles. This led to abuse as regular fans bought concession tickets online as there was no one to verify children/OAPs.

Instead of going back to hiring staff at the turnstiles (and pay on the day, which is a good thing,) the Allams polish their turd even further by introducing the membership scheme and abolishing concessions (revenge for the earlier abuse). This typifies their shitty mode of thought.

In reality, the Allams don’t give a shit about how many fans show up; all they care about is the TV rights money. Hence, the fans truly are irrelevant.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they start putting inflatable fans in the empty seats just to make The Circle look fuller for the TV audience.

Do you notice how long it’s taking the Allams to sell the club to “the right owner”? That’s because they have no intention of selling: the interest they pay themselves is just too good of a cash cow.

Nice piece in the Hull Daily Fail Andy.
Whilst a debate does need to represent both sides, how can ANYONE defend this scheme???
    Sheer lunacy.

Excellent analysis of current situation. I’ll not join membership scheme as I’m opposed to the unfair pricing structure, my default position will be to just go to away games, but will still go to kc if I can get in!
