Northern Ireland international Corry Evans has joined Hull City on a permanent basis.
The gutsy, industrious midfielder proved a terrific addition to the team when joining on loan from Manchester United in January, and was an ever-present from signing until injury cut his season short at Easter.
The 20 year old Evans also contributed three goals during his loan spell, all of which came away from home against teams in the top half of the table.
Speculation began about a month ago that a full-time switch from Manchester United had been agreed, and today a three year deal has been confirmed. It is genuinely excellent news and a marvellous bit of business by the Tigers. Evans is now the fourth player in the last six months – following Cameron Stewart, James Chester and Joe Dudgeon – to hook up with City after leaving Old Trafford.
As is now the norm, Evans has signed for an undisclosed fee.
