Phil Brown is no longer the manager of City.
A statement on the club’s official website states that he’s been placed on gardening leave with immediate effect, with Brian Horton now in charge of first team affairs. He’ll be assisted by Steve Parkin, pending an expected announcement later in the week about a new full-time manager.
We’ll have much more on this soon, but in the meantime – no matter how disappointing City’s form has been over a prolonged period – it’s hard not to feel incredibly sorry about how it’s turned out for the man who took us to Wembley and the Premier League.
Thank God the Tango Man has gone. Hopefully that joker Horton will not be far behind him.
Maybe if he spent a bit more time on tactical awareness and less time on the sunbed you lot would not be heading for the Premiership exit door.
I am just glad that we got to put one more nail in your relegation coffin, before the Orange one went.
I think the word Karma springs to mind when we get the result that loses him his job, after the lies he fabricated against our captain last season to try and get him suspended. It’s just a shame Cesc was not on the pitch on Saturday to enjoy it.
All I can hope for now is that whoever takes over doesn’t manage to perform the miracle that would be your survival in this league.
The sooner Hull City are playing football in the football leagues backwaters again the better. That is where they belong.
If you want to play at the top level be fair and provide football pitch for visiting teams to play on. I bet our lads didn’t know if they should kick the ball or sow seeds on that joke you provided on Saturday. If you have only got a rugby pitch, play rugby, not football on it FFS.

After what City have been through in last few years slagging off our club/pitch/manager/supporters/city doesn’t wind us up at all. If anything just our presence in the Premier League seems to wind Arsenal fans up and if we do go down one wonderful moment will stay with me forever and that will be Arsene Wenger feeling physically sick when we beat Arsenal at the Emirates.

They sum up all that is wrong with the Premier league – prima-donna, cheating, diving, Southern softies who think “little” clubs like Hull City have no right to tackle or challenge them.
Of the so-called “top 4″ teams I never used to mind Arsenal but since they stopped winning trophies Wenger (& his players) have become as obnoxious as Ferguson & Man Utd. and is just a moaning, childish French cunt.

Really, Mr Muggins! I will put it down to too many pints of mild last night for such a moronic comment.
There is no bitterness from me about your victory at the Emirates, we didn’t show you enough respect and tried to walk the ball in, we should have been 3 or 4 up before you scored. We got what we deserved. It is worth noting that we have not made the same mistake since, as we have beaten you every time we played you.
You all seem so happy about it though, and I can fully understand that. It was the biggest result in your clubs history.
