TATWATCH – Hand Knitted Dean Windass doll

Unofficial, available from Ebay, asking price £10

Oh dear. You have to credit the attention detail I suppose, the winners medal around the neck, the black and amber trophy ribbons, the tattoo… but look at it, just look at it, who wants that? Well, no one it seems, there were no bids after 10 days of listing.

PHOTO SPECIAL – Dogs In City Shirts

The recent promotion parade saw an estimated 100,000 people take to the streets of Hull to show their gratitude to the finest Tigers side in living memory. It wasn’t just humans celebrating promotion to the Premier League though, canines showed their support too. We’ve seen some amazing sights of late, the Wembley arch, Deano’s volley, the amber ribboned Play Off trophy and a city unified in joy. Nothing though compares to the incredible imagery of dogs wearing City shirts. We counted 3 at the parade, but reckon there were more. For historical posterity, we want to create a gallery of dogs dressed in club colours and ask you, the Tiger Nation, to send pictures of black and amber bedecked Hull City hounds to dogsdogsdogs@tigernation.co.uk

Rex has had a hard time of it being a City fan. Fellow fans often mistakenly believe he is an undercover police dog, when in reality he works in a scrapyard guarding broken cars. A supporter for six years, his favourite player is Dean Windass.

When asked to name his all time favourite player, Ben said “Woof!” Billy Woof played for City in the 82-83 season. Looking good for your age there, Ben.

Jess was really happy after securing a perfect position at the front of the celebrations. A lifetime City fan, she remembers the dark old days in the lowest division and is over the moon at our success. Her favourite player is Caleb Folan. “He is sooo handsome!” she said.

Winston was visibly nervous before setting off for Wembley on Play-Off Final Day. After throwing up on the coach several times en-route to the Capital, he ended up watching the match from a bar at Watford Gap services.

Sparky watched the final from the comfort of his living room, after being banned from making the trip to Wembley because of his penchant for chewing Ryan France’s legs. Pictured here moments before the final whistle, the nervous anticipation is apparent for all to see. Bless.

Fido celebrated long in to the night and is pictured here looking a little worse for wear after one too many bowls of lager. He is looking forward to watching the Tigers in the Premiership and can’t wait to see the likes of Ronaldo, Torres and Ballack gracing the KC turf next season. “Turner will bite their legs” he said.

“Bad-Dawg” Buster doesn’t have any time for all the new fans that have crawled out of the woodwork since the Tigers promotion to the Premier League. “Where were they when we were shit?” he growled, menacingly.

Cleo was heartbroken the day City released Aaron Wilbraham and hasn’t taken her Alby 22 shirt off since 2005. The polyester rag stinks, but not as much as Wilbraham’s performances, the lanky oaf. Not that we’d let Cleo hear us say that.

You’ve heard of guide dogs for the blind, well Dino the blind dog has a guide human who provides running commentary at games. Dino eschews a City shirt for a hat which conveniently hides his boggly eyes, but the head swaying is a dead giveaway.

Being exiled in another country hasn’t dampened this dogs rabid support of the Tigers. Modelling the 2007/08 away kit, Rocky shows off his close ball control skills. “I used to be pretty tasty when I was younger” says Rocky, “I had trials with Bedlington Terriers and Donny Rovers, but a knee injury ended my pro football dreams. Nowadays I live in America and do a bit of coaching, but they don’t know what real football is here. Mind you, they think a fanny is your arse! Any hole’s a goal I suppose! Hurr hurr hurr!”

TATWATCH – Hull City wired blazer patch

Unofficial. Available from: Ebay. Asking price: £4.99

You don’t see many people wearing blazers these days, so this item would appeal to a limited target audience even if it was any good, and it really isn’t. What is going on with the eyes? They’re like the eyes of the kids in Village of the Damned, only more sinister.
