Phil Parkinson is no longer the Hull City manager.
A statement on the club’s official website from chairman Adam Pearson confirmed that he is to leave, with further details to be announced.
Colin Murphy and Phil Brown will take charge of team affairs while a permanent replacement is sought.
An air of inevitability had crept in following the Tigers’ disastrous results against Colchester and Southampton, and Parkinson leaves with City five points adrift of safety near the foot of the Championship.
More to come…
