City have signed Leeds United striker Caleb Folan on a month’s loan. The 19 year old recently had a loan spell at Rushden – during which he played against City in the 3-3 there. He was mostly used as a substitute during his Nene Park, making his only starting appearance in their 7-1 hammering at Cardiff in the LDV trophy. He has yet to make a senior appearance at Elland Road, although he is a regular in the White Shite’s reserve team. He is City’s second signing in two days, following the arrival yesterday of Richard Sneekes on a free transfer. Following Paul Tait’s early return to Crewe, he bolster’s City’s attacking options. He is 6’1″ tall, and his primary attributes reputedly pace and power.
